Project Completed in Latvia: Latest-Generation HSG R2 (3 kW) Pipe Cutting Laser with Automatic Loading
Another project in Latvia has been successfully completed! A latest-generation, fully upgraded HSG R2 (3 kW) pipe cutting machine, along with an automatic material feeding system, has been installed and commissioned at the customer’s production facility.
"Compact Rocket" for machining small and medium-sized tubes
With increasing demands for production speed, precision, and cost control, small and medium-sized tube processing companies need a highly efficient and reliable solution. The new HSG R2 model (often referred to as the “Compact Pocket Rocket”) is specifically designed for this task—it ensures an optimal balance between high productivity, stability, and return on investment.
Key advantages of the project and equipment:
- Automatic Material Loading (WindTech-Loading System): An updated fast-loading mode has been implemented, allowing a pipe to be loaded in just 14 seconds. This drastically reduces the need for manual labor and downtime between cycles.
- High productivity: The maximum idle speed reaches as high as 120 m/min., which, combined with a high-performance dynamic system, significantly increases the number of parts produced per shift.
- Wide range of machining capabilities: The machine is designed to machine round and square tubes with diameters ranging from Ø12 to 240 mm, as well as various profiles—a single machine can handle an exceptionally wide range of products.
- Maximum structural stability: The triangular truss frame of the machine ensures long-term accuracy and vibration damping even when operating at maximum speed.
- Smart Management and Cost Savings: The “one-click” process database and advanced HTN nesting software ensure maximum utilization of raw materials and reduce waste.
