Pipe rotators U-series

U-Range pipe rotators are used for clamping, rotation and tilting of pipes with round profiles in manual or automatic welding, mainly in the field of pipe construction (prefabrication and assembly on site) as well as in manufacture of plant.

Advantages of applying U-series pipe rotators:

• High efficiency, there is no need in assistance;
• Switching on and off and changing the direction of rotation using separate foot operated control unit;
• Continuous circular welding;
• Welding in a constant position;
• Possibility to clamp two pipes of the same diameter;
• Clamping the pipe flange and pipe wall without changing tools;
• Special rubber coated or stainless steel rolls for stainless steel pipes;
• A lot of additional options for welding, cutting and automation.

Kistler U-series models:

• U150 for pipes up to 300 mm;
• U500 for pipes up to 1000 mm;
• U1000 for pipes up to 2000 mm.

Standard rotators are designed to rotate the pipes at an angle of 360° forward and backward horizontally. Rotation and tilting can be carried out separately or in the same time. The tilt section consists of a drive and rollers, a retaining column, a clamping handle and a clamping roller. Manual height adjustment is standard for all devices.
